This month, Congress is expected to finalize a spending deal to fund the federal government. More than 100 anti-environmental riders are in play, including some that eliminate Endangered Species Act (ESA) protections for wolves through must-pass spending legislation.
There is a very serious threat that some of these anti-species riders could become law, unless the president and leaders in Congress stand firm in rejecting them.
Please call on your representatives and President Obama oppose all policy “riders” that seek to gut the ESA, block its protections for wolves, other imperiled species, and obstruct our ability to enforce this federal law.
